The files are available in zip files, one for each of the 10 sites. Each file is approximately 500 MB.

The recordings were compressed from the original files (wav, mono, 16-bit, 44.1 kHz) to the lossless format FLAC. All recording were made with a Sennheiser ME-62 omni-directional microphone and K-6 module and a Marantz PMD-670 digital recorder. The file name indicates the date and time when the recording was made.

Please consult the Materials and Methods section of the paper for details on how the recordings were made and analyzed.
